The National Commission for Women is committed to the protection of the rights of women in the country and to their welfare and development. To attain these aims, the Commission organizes countrywide campaigns, workshops and consultations. The PR Cell throws light on the activities under taken by the Commission to full fill its mandate to participate, advice on the planning process of socio-economic development of women and evaluate the progress and development of women under the Union and the State Government.
