The Commission had decided that revised guidelines for financial assistance will come into effect from 1st November, 2014.
The revised guidelines, however, will be applicable with reference to all proposals that will be received in the Commission for year 2015 – 2016 onwards. Regarding proposals for the year 2014-2015, as the last date of receipt such proposals is 31st October, 2014, the norms laid down in the original guidelines will continue to apply.
The Commission, may, however, at its discretion, like to apply the revised norms for specific proposals if so required.
