Processes the complaints received orally in writing or online via official website National Commission for Women.
Deals with the complaints received from all over the country including those relating to deprivation of rights of women and involving injustice to women takes तथा cognizance of incidents related to commission of heinous crimes against women U/S 10 of the National Commission Act, 1990.
The complaints received are scrutinized as per Commission’s mandate and adopted procedure to handle complaints
The complaints which falls within the Commission’s mandate and adopted procedure to handle complaints are registered under 19 identified categories.
The complaints of the following nature are summarily dismissed:-
अपठनीय अथवा अस्पशस्ट , अज्ञात अथवा छद्मनामी शिकायतें;
उठाया गया मुद्दा पार्टियों के बीच दीवानी विवाद से संबंधित है;
पक्षों के मध्य सिविल विवादों से संबंधित उठाए गए मुद्दे
सेवा मामलों से संबंधित उठाए गए मुद्दे न्यांयालय/अधिकरण के समक्ष विचारधीन मामले
वे शिकायतें जो किसी राज्य आयोग अथवा किसी अन्य आयोग के समक्ष पहले से लम्बित है।
आयोग को भेजी गई शिकायतें
महिलाओं के अधिकारों से वंचित न होने वाली शिकायतें
वे शिकायतें जहां महिला अधिकारों के हनन का कोई मामला शामिल नहीं है।

महिला-पुरूष भेदभाव
स्त्री अशिष्ट निरूपण

महिला अधिकारों के लिए अपमानजनक सती प्रथा, देवदासी प्रथा और डायन के शिकार जैसी परंपरागत प्रथाएं
महिलाओं का प्रजनन स्वास्थ्य अधिकार
शिकायतों की प्रोसेसिंग
शिकायतकर्ता को पर्याप्त राहत प्रदान करना तथा उसकी शिकायतों का उपयुक्त निराकरण सुनिश्चित करना। शिकायतें निम्नलिखित ढंग से की जाती हैं :
पुलिस द्वारा अन्वेषण शीघ्र पूरा तथा इसकी निगरानी की जाती है।
Family disputes are resolved or compromised through counseling or hearing before the Commission.. For serious crimes, the Commission constitutes an Inquiry Committee which makes spot enquiries, examines various witnesses, collects evidence and submits the report with recommendations. Such investigations help in providing immediate relief and justice to the victims of violence and atrocities. The implementation of the report is monitored by the NCW. There is a provision for having experts/lawyers on these committees.
अंत में, शिकायतों के निपटारे के लिए कुछ शिकायतें संबंधित राज्य महिला आयोग तथा राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग, राष्ट्रीय अनुसूचित जाति/अनुसूचित जनजाति आयोग आदि जैसे अन्य मंचों को भी अग्रेषित की जाती हैं।
In respect of complaints related to sexual harassment of women at their workplaces, the concerned organizations or departments are urged to constitute an Internal Complaints Committee(ICC) as per the mandatory provisions Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 in order to enquire into such complaints. The Commission regularly monitored and takes up these complaints with the concerned organizations/departments to expedite the disposal of the complaints by following the statutory provisions.
शिकायतों का विश्लेषण
प्राप्त शिकायतें महिलाओं के साथ अपराधों के रूझान को दर्शाती हैं तथा अपराधों में कमी के लिए आवश्यक प्रणालीबद्ध परिवर्तनों का सुझाव देती हैं ।
महिलाओं के साथ हिंसा से निपटने में सरकार के रूटीन कार्यकरण में अंतरालों को समझने तथा सुधारात्मक उपायों को सुझाने के लिए शिकायतों का विश्लेषण किया जाता है ।
शिकायतों का पुलिस, न्यायपालिका, अभियोक्ता, न्यायिक वैज्ञानिकों, रक्षा अधिवक्ताओं तथा अन्य प्राथमिक कार्यकर्ताओं को संचेतना कार्यक्रमों के लिए केस अध्ययनों के रूप में भी उपयोग किया जाता है।
