National Commission for Women

The Commission constitutes Expert Committees for dealing with such special issues as may be taken up by the Commission from time to time.

1. Expert Committee on on Gender and Land Rights.

2. Expert Committee on Violence Against Women of Minority Communities.

3. Expert Committee on Gender and Education.

The National Commission for Womenhad constituted a five member Expert Committee for dreafting of amendments to provisions contained in existing legislation / fresh legislation where considered appropriate in respect of NRI/Overseas Marriages.
